Research any company in one click
Before an interview, a deal, or a big purchase, get the real story on a company, check the claims on its site, and compare it to the alternatives.
You land on a company’s website. Maybe they’ve offered you an interview, maybe they’re pitching you, maybe you’re about to buy from them. The site tells you what they want you to know. What you need is everything else: who runs it, how it makes money, whether it’s growing, and what people are saying.
Here’s a quick routine with four Shortcuts, each one click from the page you’re on.
Start with the company
Run Research this company from their homepage or about page. Muse gets the page and goes out to find what the company does, who runs it, how it makes money, how big it is, and any recent news, funding, or controversies. It cites sources and flags anything it couldn’t verify.
It opens in a side chat, so you can keep asking follow-ups (“who are their biggest customers?”) without losing the thread.
Check the claims
Marketing pages are full of numbers. “Trusted by 10,000 teams.” “The fastest on the market.” Select a claim, or just run it on the whole page, and use Fact-check this page. Muse lists the main claims, says which hold up and which are misleading, and cites sources for each.
Compare before you commit
If you’re buying, run Compare products on the product or pricing page. Muse finds three to five strong alternatives, compares price, specs, quality, and reviews, and tells you which it would pick and when another would be the better choice.
Keep the short version
Reading a long report, terms of service, or an annual letter? Summarize gives you the key points, anything important you might miss, and actionable takeaways. It comes with the extension.
Make it yours
Every Shortcut is an editable instruction. If you do this often, say before every sales call, open the Shortcut Builder in the extension and add what you always want to know: “include their pricing”, “find the decision makers”, “note anything about security”. Your version runs the same way, one click from any page.
